Megan and Alan - Expecting

I love photographing babies and bellies! Meet Megan and Alan. I am so glad that Megan asked me to take her pictures. I have a deep appreciation and love for pregnant women. I loved being pregnant and never felt more gorgeous, and that must be the joy I feel when I see another pregnant woman - they are all so gorgeous to me, and Megan is no exception. She is absolutely beautiful and glowing.

I'm also very excited because the two of them are the first to sign up for my "Baby Steps" program, so I will be following and photographing their baby through the first year of his/her life. Don't worry, Baby Z will be making his/her appearance on this blog often. Until that moment, take a look at the beginning.

Thank you so much for allowing me to become a part of your lives. I can't wait to meet Baby Z!

Leah and Matt - Engaged

Check out this sweet couple. Leah, the beautiful bride-to-be, and I were friends in high school. We have many of a fond memories from summer of my junior year (her sophomore year), driving around town in my convertible, working together at the IGA, and just enjoying being young. It was actually at the IGA that Leah met Matt. The rest is history!

I am honored to be the chosen one to document their wedding day, and not because I love them so, but because I know they chose me because of my talent. Leah did her research and I happened to come on top! Lucky Me! So until the big day, enjoy a preview of their engagement photos.

Only a month and a half until the wedding, and I can not wait! Check back for beautiful wedding pictures of the two of them.

Alicia and Paul - Married

It was May 2, 2009 in Lincoln, IL, the first sunny day after 3 continuous days of raining. Thankfully the sun dried the ground just enough to proceed with Paul and Alicia's outdoor wedding. The wedding was simple and classy, with gorgeous colors, might I add. This couple was so in love, that when they were together, I could feel the love radiating from both of them. This is why I love my career - I get to be a witness of people joining and sharing their love for each other. I feel so privileged to be the chosen one to document this love on this special day. Check out a few favorites from the day.

This is one of my favorite moments in the wedding, when the father hugs his daughter one last time before presenting her to her future husband. Brings tears to my eyes every time!

Love this one below! LOVE IT!

This bottom picture is a text message that Paul sent to Alicia. It says "What are you doing for the next 80 years?" Talk about sweet.
