Jamie and Chelsea - Married

I may be repeating myself here, but I am so so lucky to be able to photograph so many wonderful and good looking people!

May 22, 2010 marked another fabulous wedding - the joining of two people as man and wife - two wonderful and fun people named Jamie and Chelsea. I just simply loved being in the presence of Jamie and Chelsea. It was so apparent that they are two very special people - very much in love with each other, and loved by everyone around them.  From the energetic bridal party, to a lovely ceremony, to a rockin' reception - everything was great. See the sneak peek!

Really love this

This group is full of hunters and fisherman, so this is what they call the "geese V".
Beautiful ladies

You two are so cute :)

Gorgeous

Love love this! The moment of adoration. Just priceless.

That would be the groom, Jamie, with one of the little dancers of the evening, in the middle of a circle of about 50 people. It was such a great reception!

Glenn and Leslie - Married

I have to say that I feel completely blessed to be doing what I love - but also because I have the best clients ever. Seriously, I am so lucky. I know I may say this about every couple on my blog - but it's the god honest truth. Glenn and Leslie are no exception to this rule. They are two of the most laid back, fun loving people I have met.  I have truly enjoyed every moment spent with them. From our first meeting, to their engagement session, from the shared emails, to their wedding day, it has just been a wonderful experience to be a part of their wedding journey.

Not only was the couple a great delight to be around, their wedding venue was AWESOME! As a born and raised Illini fan, I have to say it was such a great experience to not only be at the top of Memorial Stadium, but to photograph an entire wedding and reception. I love unique settings - and this was definitely an experience. I can't say enough nice things about this couple, as well as their family and their bridal party. It was a true honor to be in their presence as they became man and wife. Now enjoy your sneak peek!

Leslie - you are SOOOOO gorgeous!

You guys rock!

And just for a few fun ones - my assistant for the day, Aaron, captured a few of these. It's definitely a funny site to see myself in action. So here are just a few.

Char and Mike - Married (In Mexico)

What a day this was. A day 20 years in the making. A gorgeous day on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - perfect for the wedding ceremony of Mike and Char. To say the day was wonderful would be an understatement. As my first destination wedding, I have to say it definitely set the standard for many more to come.

It was such a great pleasure not only to be able to photograph this joyous occasion, but to be in the presence of so many wonderful and friendly people. The happy couple had friends and family from afar, as well as friends and family made in Puerto Vallarta in attendance (and even a few friends made on the airplane ride down. :) ) The atmosphere was such of genuine happiness - all around. I am beyond honored as the one chosen to document Char and Mike's day. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Bridal Party!

the bride with her mother - such a sweet moment
Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day! I wish you both nothing but ultimate happiness from here on out.

And for a few fun photos of us in action - captured by husband, Rory (my assistant for the day) and the bride's nephew, Andrew Mitchell.

This was shot by Rory. He normally gets these faces from me. :)

That's a photographer who gets down and dirty. Notice my sand covered knees.

That's what I'm talking about - getting the man to do some work! :)

That's us!
