Just Because - Monica

Meet Monica!
Monica and I work together. We were discussing my photography and she mentioned that her boyfriend has been begging her for a picture of her to show off....very fortunate for her that she happens to work with a photographer. See the results!

And for the boyfriend wallet shot!

This shoot was so much fun! Monica was full of energy and just enjoying being a "supermodel" for the evening. She also gave me one of the greatest compliments in my career. Monica told me that it was fun to be around me because I got so excited about my work. My excitement made her excited for the pictures.

It's true! I can barely contain my excitement when photographing. I'm glad that she saw the excitement and thrived off it. Monica...it was a true pleasure to photograph you. She has already been bragging to her friends. Bring on the models!

Senior - Kyli

Meet Kyli! This beautiful young lady was a great pleasure to photograph. She showed up to the shoot in her large shades with her hair all pulled up into a sloppy ponytail. Right before the pictures, she just undid the ponytail and her hair was perfect. I am so envious! :) Kyli had an amazing smile and was so great to work with. She was ready for anything that I asked her to do.

Look for more pics of her in the future, as I'm sure she will be the subject of many more of my shoots. In the meantime, check out a few of these.

Senior - Jordan

So...I'm promised more pics. Be prepared...here they come.

Meet Jordan! Watch out ladies, he just turned 18. :)

I have known Jordan for a very long time and I felt very privileged that his mom choose me to do his senior pictures. As most teenage boys, he did not want to smile for many of his pictures. This is where it came in handy that we already knew each other. As you can see, he smiled. There's nothing a little threatening can't overcome.

Jennifer

Check out a few pics from my first senior shoot this year! This young lady happens to be my sister-in-law and it's absolutely amazing how grown up she looks. We have done many photo shoots and I think this is her best so far. These are just a few of my favorites!

I also had to share a few pics of my adorable princess, Peyton. This little girls absolutely melts my heart in so many ways! She joined us on her aunt's picture adventure and these are a few I captured during the moment.

Keep checking back as I have many more pics to post.

Tina and Cory

Hello again. It has been a long weekend, with a lot of things going on. I had a senior shoot, Jennifer, on Saturday. Look for some of her pictures soon. I also participated in the Bridal Expo at Hawthorne Suites this past Sunday. There were a lot of people there and I felt very good after the show. I have already had a few brides get in touch, and I'm so excited to start working with them.

I was editing some pictures from the wedding I shot on September 27th and had to share a few of my favorites.

The happy bride and groom is Tina and Cory, who also happen to be friends of mine.  I met them a couple years ago through my husband, who races with Cory. I also took their engagement pictures last year. Their wedding was a blast, as I knew it would be. Their wedding party was so energetic and cooperative. I can't wait to show them the rest of the pictures once they get back from their honeymoon.

First One

Hello all. This is my first blog, EVER!

I have been inspired by other photographers around me. I have enjoyed reading their blogs and viewing their newest images from a photo shoot so much, that I had to jump on the wagon too. I'm sure that this is the first of many posts to come. I have a couple photo shoots this weekend, so check back soon to view some images of them.

Attention all future brides: If you are in the Champaign, IL area this weekend, come check me out at the Hawthorne Bridal Expo from 2 - 5 on Sunday, October 5th. It's free to the public! And I will have chocolate!
