Katie and Jacob- Married

July 2, 2011 marked the day that Katie, Jacob and Kameron became a family. Another wonderful wedding with a bunch of wonderful people. Another wedding where I felt like a friend with a camera - can't even began to describe how blessed that makes me feel. Katie and Jacob have been so excited about their wedding day since we first met, that it was so fun to just talk to them about details and events leading up to the big day. Jacob was such a hands on groom - staying up into the wee hours putting together centerpieces, tying bows on reception chairs and even helping the bride bustle her dress. And Katie - planning a wedding while juggling baseball and soccer for her son and even some coaching - call her superwoman. :) These two were absolutely awesome. My favorite part of the day was going back to their house in the country to do some pictures. Not only do I love country roads, open fields, and old barns, but I love seeing the bride and grooms personal touch incorporated into their wedding pictures. Check out some of my favorites!

Comfortable and blinging - what else can you ask for!?!

Jessica and Brian - Married

Meet Jessica and Brian - childhood sweethearts! Every wedding I photograph, I feel very lucky to be chosen to document their wedding day, but after talking to Jessica about how long she and Brian have been together, I felt even more privileged. It's rare these days to find a couple that have been together for many years before getting married, but meeting a couple who grew up playing basketball in middle school, to high school and college, it just melts my heart. These two are just awesome and fun people. I truly enjoyed every aspect of their wedding day and love the affection and love all their friends and family had for them. Check out some of my favorites from their wedding day!

This room was absolutely perfect for her vintage inspired dress to be photographed in
GORGEOUS!

Kristi and Ryan - Married

Photography is so much more than a job for me. And when I come across people like Kristi and Ryan, I am so thankful that my passion has also included me in the lives of such great people. This wedding felt more like I was a friend along their entire wedding day. Kristi is a past bridesmaid of one my past weddings and I couldn't be happier that she choose me to document her wedding day. Since the day I met with Ryan and Kristi for their engagement session, I knew this day was going to be beyond amazing, and I was so right. To start the day off, Ryan surprised Kristi with a limo that brought the girls out to Vineyard. He also surprised her with a second wedding band (and may I say - gorgeous.) Future grooms - take note! :) The love of Kristi and Ryan, combined with their fun and wonderful bridal party, a gorgeous ceremony setting (Mackinaw Valley Vineyard,) and a rain free day (thank you Mother Nature for cooperating) this wedding was one I will always cherish. Enjoy your sneak Peek!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Ryan - you are one lucky guy. :)
the picture on the right is groomsmen and ushers - see how there is an usher that is a woman, she's Ryan's sister. Love that idea!
