Meet my adorable nephew, Pierce. I took these portraits about 3 weeks ago, but in the chaos of trying to get everything updated, I neglected to add him to the blog. He is absolutely adorable and definitely deserves his rightful place among the internet. :) One of my favorite aspects of photographing children outside/somewhere they can play is their natural reactions. You can never duplicate the look they create from the joy of sliding down a slide, swinging, or playing on the merry-go-round. I never enjoy seeing a child cry, but it's that true emotion that catches my heart every time.
