Babies of 2011

I can not believe it's May already! Wedding season is in full swing now and I have yet to keep my promise of keeping the blog updated with my newest sessions. I do post regularly on my facebook page. If you aren't a fan yet, become one here. To get back on track, here are some of the cutest babies I have been fortunate to photograph this year.

Zoe - such an angelic and beautiful baby.

Jordan - absolutely gorgoeus!! I had the honor of photographing her parent's wedding last year. I absolutely love seeing my bride and groom expanding their family - and it's an absolute honor to be the one to continue photographing their family. :)

Bronson - what a handsome little man! He was great at giving me some awake and sleeping photographs.

Sweet sweet Annelise. Annelise is one of my Baby Steps participants and I am so excited to be able to photograph and show you more of this sweetness as she grows.

Jon and Katie - Married

I love my job! I really do. And it's weddings like Jon and Katie's that continue my love even more. The rain held off so Jon and Katie could be married in the backyard of Jon's parents. It was such a beautiful set up with a truly lovely ceremony that was accompanied by their closest family and friends. After the ceremony, we were able to head downtown for some of my most favorite bridal party pictures, before ending the evening with a reception at the City View (top of the Amtrak station.) I have photographed many weddings, and without a doubt, I can say that the love between Jon and Katie was undeniable. The entire ceremony, I don't think their eyes left each other for more than a few seconds. It was sweet - and in fact - I know I was smiling behind my camera. The bride's mother had this stamp made for them. The bride and groom had a temporary tattoo/stamp station at the reception. So them and so neat!

Derreck and Kacie - Married

The wedding of Derreck and Kacie was the perfect wedding to start my 2011 wedding season off with. Such a fun loving and sweet couple - with just as about as fun of a wedding party. I may have been smiling almost as much as the happy couple. :) The day couldn't be more perfect, with the sun shining and the beautiful Illinois Wesleyan Chapel as the setting.
