Cassie and Andrew - Engaged

With warm weather brings out all the lovely couples for their engagement sessions. Meet Cassie and Andrew. I met up with this lovely couple in downtown Bloomington and they brought along their little dog, Max. Amanda and Travis - Engaged

The best word to describe this couple is: FUN! I truly enjoyed photographing Amanda and Travis - even though it was ridiculously cold outside! From the first time I met with them, I just knew that they fit my ideal wedding couple: fun, spontaneous, relaxed, enjoying life, being in love, and loving to be photographed (well at least Amanda does.) :) Enjoy your sneak peek!

Amy and Clayton - Engaged

Amy and Clayton's engagement session took place at the Riverwalk in Naperville. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and a fabulous location. I truly enjoyed being able to get to know Amy and Clayton, and some of their wedding details as we ventured around the walk for their pictures. These two seemed so in sync, as well as very photogenic. Check out a few of my favorites below!

Lindsey and Stuart - Engaged

I love photographing engagement sessions. Okay - so I pretty much love photographing of all kinds, but there is something special about each session. In an engagement session, it's always so special to be around a couple that are so in love. Lindsey and Stuart were no exception. They were absolutely great to photograph. They laughed and joked around the whole time, and that makes the photo session so much more fun. Mother Nature graced us with some really cold weather before we were all prepared for it, but Lindsey and Stuart did their best to stay warm for pictures sake. See some favorites.

Natasha and Luke - Engaged

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is the amount of people that I get to meet - interact with - be a part of their lives, even for just a moment. I was so happy to meet Natasha and Luke on this beautiful afternoon for the engagement session. We started their session on the campus of Illinois State University, where both of them graduated, and then ventured on to Miller Park. Both of them were such troopers, stopping for outfit changes, dealing with students who were confused and thought Luke was proposing that day (it makes me laugh) and trying to outjump each other (I think Natasha won. :) ) You two were great to work with. Chelsea and Jamie - Engaged

Chelsea and Jamie are one of the sweetest and quiet couples I have met. We ventured along Illinois Wesleyan campus and Miller Park in Bloomington for their engagement session, and it was an absolutely beautiful day. It was a true pleasure to work with both of them, and I'm definitely looking forward to the fun we are going to have next May at their wedding.

I asked them to walk along the edge for this one. Brave souls they are! :)
